Jordan stays fastest in second practice
2 April 2011 – Andrew Jordan topped the second practice session of the day at Brands Hatch, with the Eurotech Racing driver leading Tom Chilton by a margin of 0.033 seconds ahead of this afternoon's qualifying hour. Jason Plato was next up, ending his time on-track in third place for the Silverline Chevrolet team.
A notable omission from the session was Gordon Shedden, who damaged his car at during first practice. He has since linked the accident to a puncture, with his team currently investigating the cause. There are continuing doubts as to whether the Scotsman will be able to compete in this afternoon's qualifying session.
Behind the top three drivers, James Nash was able to claim fourth in his Vauxhall Vectra, just ahead of Tom Boardman. Matt Neal followed for the Honda Racing Team, with Alex MacDowall at the wheel of the second Silverline Chevrolet machine in seventh. Mat Jackson broke into the top ten runners for the first time this weekend, ahead of Paul O'Neill and Jeff Smith.
