Daly retains seat with ART Grand Prix
25 April 2013 – Conor Daly will contest his second GP3 campaign with ART Grand Prix in 2013, having secured a deal to remain with the French outfit. The 21-year-old American, a race winner in the category, will join Facu Regalia and Jack Harvey at the team.
"I am very much looking forward to being back with ART Grand Prix again," explained Daly, who made a one-off GP2 appearance for Hilmer Motorsport in Malaysia. "Their history in the junior levels is impressive and I want to add to their legacy. Testing went well and the new car is so much better than before. I can't wait for Barcelona."
ART team boss Frederic Vasseur added: "ART Grand Prix and I are sincerely delighted to give Conor another warm welcome. We only have excellent memories from the first year of our collaboration and Conor is valued very much for his speed, his ability to push hard on the race track and the fact that he's always in a good mood."
Daly will also take part in this year's Indianapolis 500, with the former Star Mazda Champion due to race alongside Long Beach victor Takuma Sato at A.J. Foyt Racing.
