Zamparelli switches to ART for 2014 season
19 February 2014 – Dino Zamparelli has joined title-holding team ART Grand Prix for the 2014 GP3 Series campaign.
The 21-year-old Briton, who won the BARC Formula Renault title back in 2011, makes the switch from Marussia Manor Racing, with whom he finished 18th in last year's standings after collecting eight points finishes.
"Signing for ART Grand Prix is a massive move," commented Zamparelli. "I'm so excited to get to race for a team with so much history. In GP3 they've won four titles in a row so they are clearly getting something right.
"The aim is simple, to go and win as many races as possible and ultimately take the championship crown. With a team like ART and with my experience in GP3 last year, I feel we've got all the right ingredients to do that."
ART has won the GP3 Teams' title in every season since the series was born. It also claimed the Drivers' crown with Esteban Gutiérrez and Valtteri Bottas in 2010 and 2011, but has missed out in the past two years.
