Vergne, Delétraz join Dubai 24H line-up
8 January 2017 – Former Formula 1 racer Jean-Éric Vergne and Renault young driver Louis Delétraz will participate in next weekend's Dubai 24 Hours.
Vergne raced in Formula 1 for Toro Rosso between 2012 and 2014 before taking up a role within Ferrari's test set-up, and has since competed in Formula E with Andretti, DS Virgin and Techeetah.
Delétraz, meanwhile, joined Renault's revived young driver scheme in 2016 and will graduate to GP2 this year with Racing Engineering, having finished as runner-up in Formula V8 3.5 last season.
Vergne and Delétraz, along with Jordan Grogor and Nicky Pastorelli, will race a Renault RS01 GT3 for the GP Extreme squad at the Dubai Autodrome.
Ex-Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica will also participate in the event in a Porsche GT3.
