Luca Badoer has made his last appearance for Ferrari during an ice-run at the annual Wrooom event in north-east Italy. The 39-year-old drove a version of the team's 2009 challenger, sporting a special livery to mark the occasion.
The car ran on a set of wet weather Pirelli tyres, with 4.5mm studs attached to provide the grip required to drive the F60 across the ice. The event marked an end to Badoer's career at Ferrari, which saw him make two race appearances for the squad in 2009 following Felipe Massa's accident at the Hungaroring.
Badoer paid tribute to Maurizio Arrivabene of Philip Morris International, stating that he was responsible for his opportunities at Ferrari, marking the start and end of his time at the squad as a test driver: "It is thanks to him that I drove a Ferrari Formula 1 car for the first time at Zandvoort in 1995 and now for the last time here at Wrooom," he commented.
