In 2006 Marc Gené will have his second year as test driver at Scuderia Ferrari. The Spaniard left Williams at the end of 2004 joining 'The Reds' Championship winning team. Gené looks back at his Ferrari experience thus far and explains how important Michael Schumacher is for the Italian team.
"I have been working with other drivers but I have never seen somebody like Michael (Schumacher). His work is impressive and his motivation is unique. He is the best, not only in races, but even more outside the Grand Prix weekends," said Gené.
Gené is ready for the new season and said about the team's progress thus far: "We're going the right way. We are very reliable with the V8. It is difficult to say how quick we really are as we are not able to compare us with the other teams and their new cars yet. The team is very motivated and we really need to start winning races."
