Fernando Alonso was unable to finish Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix. His country fellow at McLaren, Pedro de la Rosa, finished in second position and was over the moon with his finish. Alonso hopes De la Rosa will stick with McLaren when he will join the team in 2007.
"Second position is a fantastich result for Pedro," Alonso told Spanish newspaper AS. "When I was leading the race and he was in third it crossed my mind how great it would be to finish like that. I hope he will be my team mate next season because he does a great job for the team."
