Stewards investigating Hamilton for Webber-Vettel crash
4 October 2007 – McLaren driver and championship leader Lewis Hamilton is under investigation by the race stewards over his behaviour behind the safety car in Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix our colleagues at Autosport.com report.
The FIA has said it is investigating Hamilton's behaviour behind the safety car as new evidence was brought to the Stewards. Hamilton was slowing down a lot causing Sebastian Vettel to crash into Mark Webber.
The case might be reopened after the FIA noticed a video at Youtube of the accident, filmed by a Formula 1 fan in the grandstands.
