Juan Pablo Montoya has plenty of praise for his 2004 BMW WilliamsF1 car after the latest round of testing at Barcelona this week
"It is an excellent car as it reacts well to the set-ups and it seems to be very competitive," he said. "This gives me great confidence about the coming months."
Williams launched their new FW26 on January 5th - earlier in the year than when the 2003 FW25 was unveiled. This has allowed the team extra time to test the new car ahead of the first Grand Prix of the season.
"The situation we had at this time last year compared to now is hugely different," Montoya added. "I can already say that with this car we'll be able to fight for the championship."
