Mugello Day 2: Better day for new Ferrari

Sunday was the second day of testing this week for Ferrari's 2004 car at the Tuscan Mugello circuit in Italy. Rubens Barrichello was once again driving the sole F2004.

Following yesterday's persistent rain, the track was still damp this morning with air temperature just nine degrees Centigrade. However conditions cleared up and while they remained slightly overcast in the afternoon, air temperature did increase to thirteen degrees Centigrade as the circuit dried out.

Barrichello was again the only driver in action as he continued development of the F2004.The Brazilian completed completed a total of 72 laps (15 on the 2.760km version of the track, and 57 on the 5.245km version) with a best time of 1m21.270s.

Barrichello continues testing at this circuit tomorrow.
