McLaren team boss Ron Dennis has voiced his concerns over Donington's plans to host the British Grand Prix and whether its business plan is sustainable in today's economic climate.
"I applaud anyone coming into F1 and creating competition but I struggle to understand how Donington's economics will work," Dennis said at the Autosport International show. "There's been a 25 per cent swing in the dollar and the contract will be based on dollars and they will also have to make a massive investment in infrastructure."
"I'm concerned that they'll go down this road and the business model won't work," he added.
