Brazilian Grand Prix race stewards have elected to take no further action on the first-lap incident involving the McLaren of Heikki Kovalainen and Ferrari of Giancarlo Fisichella.
With Finn Kovalainen having started the race 16th with Rome's Fisichella three places further back, the McLaren spun on the exit of Turn 2 with the Ferrari having to take avoiding action and evacuate onto the grass.
Having reviewed the incident several times and consulted both men involved, race stewards decided that no penalties should be handed out for the moment.
