Ferrari reveals 2010 overalls

21 January 2010

The Ferrari team is the first to show off its racing colours for the upcoming season. This year, its legendary scarlet red is joined by more white than in 2009 due to the arrival of new title sponsor Santander. Former double Champion Fernando Alonso will also be racing with a predominantly blue crash helmet.

With Alonso joining the Maranello team alongside Felipe Massa, the Spaniard's helmet reverts to the colours of the Principality of Asturias, location of hometown Oviedo. With Spanish bank Santander now on-board, the overalls' white stripe across the chest is then repeated vertically on the front of each leg.

The Ferrari cars will be easily recognisable from each other again this year, with Massa's helmet remaining yellow at its peak. Test driver Giancarlo Fisichella will be running a red and green scheme.
