Jerez testing: The line-up

8 February 2010

After three days of running in Valencia last week, the Formula 1 circus now heads south to Jerez for a further four days of on-track action in Spain, starting on Wednesday. On top of the seven teams which attended the Valencia session, three more new cars will be seen in Andalusia.

With Ferrari having topped the timesheets on all three days in Valencia, 2009 championship runners-up Red Bull Racing will run their car for the first time on Wednesday as Force India also travels abroad for the first time in 2010.

Debutants Virgin Racing will present their contender after shaking down the Cosworth-powered VR-01 at Silverstone last week.

Worries remain for weather conditions at Jerez, with forecasts continuing to dictate that rain is likely to affect at least two of the four days between Wednesday and Saturday.
