Lotus makes testing debut

The Lotus team joined the other ten present at Jerez on Wednesday for its first official day of testing. Malaysian reserve driver Fairuz Fauzy will complete the team's first day of running in the South of Spain.


Today's day of testing is not the team's first day track outing, as it was at Silverstone for a shakedown run with the Cosworth-powered T127 last week.

Following Fauzy's outing on Wednesday, Finnish team-mate Heikki Kovalainen will be in the car for the following two days before Italian Jarno Trulli takes to the cockpit on Saturday.
