Force India changes testing plans

18 February 2010

With the adverse weather conditions continuing to disrupt proceedings at Jerez this week, the Force India team has elected to modify its testing line-up at the Spanish circuit. Having driven on Wednesday morning, Scotland's Paul di Resta is back in the cockpit today.

With all teams having planned their line-ups beforehand, Adrian Sutil had been scheduled to drive all day on Thursday before Vitantonio Liuzzi stepped in for Friday and Saturday.

"Paul has taken over the VJM03 for a further morning running today and Adrian will resume driving duties this afternoon and tomorrow before Tonio gets in the car on Saturday," a Force India spokesperson explained to GPUpdate.net.

"Unfortunately, the inclement weather conditions in Jerez this week and last have limited dry running for the race drivers so we have slightly modified our plans to try and give them the best chance of running in the better weather forecasted."
