Nico Rosberg was pleased to have practiced a number of pit-stops in Jerez on Thursday but couldn't hide his irritation over the weather in Spain, which once again prevented teams from making the most of pre-season testing.
With everybody's off-season programmes having been severely disrupted due to the many showers, Rosberg - for the record - managed a best lap of 1:28.151 on his way to completing a total of 71 laps.
"On the positive side, we achieved some good mileage today despite the conditions and completed a lot of our systems work," the German explained. "It was useful for me to practice pit-stops and get into the routine for the races.
"However, it has been difficult and frustrating with the weather as we're obviously not able to learn as much as we could with a dry track, but that's the same for everyone and we will hope for an improvement over the next two days."
As Mercedes continues to alternate its drivers, Michael Schumacher will be back in the cockpit of the MGP W01 on Friday before Nico returns for Saturday.
