Frentzen, Herbert and Wurz to become stewards

As 4-time World Champion Alain Prost joins three other stewards in Race Control this weekend, 1996 title winner Damon Hill is another man who is set to judge untoward incidents in 2010.

"It's a good move," Prost told BBC Sport of the decision from FIA President Jean Todt. "Jean and I have discussed many times that an ex-driver should be part of the discussions - it's important that the FIA (Formula 1's governing body) can have the experience of a racing driver.

"It's an experiment, so we will see how it goes; normally the stewards have never done any racing but we should not over-estimate it as they know the rules and have the experience, so it will be a good combination. What you want to avoid are big penalties for normal racing incidents and also very bad manoeuvres which receive no penalty."
