Christian Klien remains in silence with regards to a possible Formula 1 return with Stefan GP next year. The Serbian outfit hopes for a place on the starting grid, with one slot still remaining following the US F1 breakdown, although the Austrian is unable to provide in-depth details into his association with the team.
Clearly listed as one of Stefan's 2010 driver possibilities on the team's website, had the squad been granted a last-minute entry by F1 governing body the FIA, a chance remains for Klien.
"As is commonly known in F1, you never talk about unlaid eggs," Christian explained to F1Pulse.com. "I am sure everybody will understand that I am unable to comment on a possible drive for 2011."
The 27-year-old Austrian, who last raced with Red Bull at the 2006 Italian Grand Prix, also reveals that he narrowly missed out on being signed as Hispania's official test and reserve driver - a role now filled by Japan's Sakon Yamamoto.
"My clear focus is on F1 in 2010 and on being back in a full race seat rather sooner than later," he continued. "I missed out narrowly on a race seat on two occasions before the start of the season and the reason was never my speed or capabilities as a driver.
"I can clearly see a few opportunities and I hope all I need is some patience now."
