Renault are not the only team debuting a new specification front wing in Valencia this weekend, as Force India will also be making best use of a fresh design on the Spanish seafront.
Although the Silverstone squad endured a bruising weekend in Montreal on which both Sutil and team-mate Tonio Liuzzi were victims of hits from fellow competitors, the duo was still able to pick up three World Championship points with ninth and tenth places.
However, Adrian hopes for more as Force India attempts to stay in touch with Renault for a top five position in this year’s Constructors’ Championship.
“Valencia needs a medium to low-downforce aero configuration and we've shown that we can perform well on this type of track,” he said.” We were strong in Canada and I believe we can be quite good in Valencia as well.
“We've also got some new parts coming for this race that should further improve our performance, including a new front wing and some smaller bodywork changes, plus a few minor suspension component developments. I think it looks promising.”
