Hispania drivers promoting road safety

23 June 2010

Hispania drivers Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok have become part of Spain’s ‘Ponle Freno Junior’ scheme. The link-up with the nationally-recognised road safety programme will involve the representatives of the Murcia-based squad being part of a jury before handing prices to young drivers.

With HRT having become the first Spanish Formula 1 team this season and with ‘Ponle Freno’ literally meaning ‘Put the brake on’, Senna and Chandhok will join team owner José Ramón Carabante for the programme in which several Murcia-based educational establishments are competing.

With results of the first edition set to be published on Wednesday, winners of competitions will be congratulated in the Ministry of Public Works and Planning of Murcia before gathering for a press conference.
