F1 and Sutton supporting GOSH charity auction

7 July 2010

Once again, Formula 1’s teams and drivers are all supporting the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) StarCards charity online auction ahead of this year’s British Grand Prix. The event is being heavily supported by Sutton Images, the official F1 photographic supplier of GPUpdate.net.

With Sutton having backed the occasion since 2004, the local Northamptonshire-based company obtains the images and signatures of all drivers in order to provide GOSH playing cards, t-shirts and grid photographs.

“We are delighted with the support of Sutton Images and to be connected with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity,” said StarCards’ Paul Brett.

“We hope that, as a result of our involvement, it will be possible for children of all nations to get the help they need.

“Every penny we raise goes directly to the charity to spend on the most vital medical equipment, research facilities or toward the £50 million required every year to help keep the magic alive.”

Until 8pm BST on Monday, bids can be placed for signed cards by every Grand Prix driver at the StarCards website
