Prince's Trust links up with Williams for British GP

9 July 2010

The logos of the Prince's Trust have appeared on the headrests of the Williams cars for the British Grand Prix this weekend. The connection with the charity comes courtesy of team title sponsor AT&T.

With the British Grand Prix marking one of the country's largest sporting events of the year, the Prince's Trust hope to make the most of the fact that 300,000 spectators are expected at the Northamptonshire track as well as a global audience of 55 million.

“This high profile exposure with AT&T Williams is incredibly exciting, helping us to raise further awareness of our work with vulnerable young people,” said Julian Barrell, Fundraising Director for The Prince's Trust.

“The Prince's Trust does fantastic work and makes a meaningful contribution to helping a large number of young people across the UK to get the skills, education and opportunities they need to succeed in life,” added Dave Langhorn, AT&T's Sales Centre Vice President for the UK and Ireland.
