Red Bull links up with LG

23 July 2010

Red Bull Racing has announced a partnership with LG Electronics, which becomes the Milton Keynes squad’s Team and Technology Partner. The South Korean conglomerate already boasts a large presence in Formula 1 as the World Championship’s official timing partner.

LG made a step up to the timing role at the beginning of this season, with its presence immediately felt as logos were displayed on FOM’s world feed television graphics. Now, the group will supply Red Bull Racing with its latest products, for use both at the team factory and on location at circuits around the world

On top of this, LG logos can also been seen on the race overalls, underwear and helmet visors of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel plus in three locations on the cars, not least the top of the monocoque.

“We are delighted to welcome LG as a partner to Red Bull Racing,” said Team Principal Christian Horner. “LG Electronics is an extremely innovative company which aligns well with the creative innovation that is demonstrated within Red Bull Racing.”
