Senna pleased with Hispania reliability

30 July 2010

Bruno Senna was content with the Friday reliability of his Hispania car as the Brazilian, who finished on the Hungarian podium in GP2 twice two years ago, set the 22nd best time.

Senna’s best practice session effort of 1:26.745 was 6.7 seconds slower than the pack-leading Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel on Friday although only half a tenth separated himself and team-mate Sakon Yamamoto on the timesheets.

“In the first session, the track was very green and the grip level was quite low,” he explained. “We tried some aero settings in preparation for qualifying and the race.

“We were able to fulfil our testing programme and, as we completed almost a whole race distance, you can see that the car is reliable.”
