Extra effort needed due to times, says Barrichello

Rubens Barrichello believes that making no mistakes will be more crucial than ever on Saturday, judging by the midfield lap times seen in Friday’s two practice sessions at the Hungaroring.

In the afternoon period, when Nico Hülkenberg and Rubens finished eighth and 12th quickest for Williams, those from fifth to 12th were split by just seven tenths of a second.

“My day went well and we managed to finish plenty of comparative tests, which are important for the weekend,” Rubens began.

“We can see already that it is going to be a very close grid and it will require our best efforts to qualify at the head of the group of cars we are running among. All of this makes it a very busy weekend, in terms of the effort we need to make.”
