Button completes London Triathlon
Even though he was fighting his tonsillitis Jenson Button completed the London Triathlon on Sunday. Button completed the course in 2.14.15, which is about seven minutes slower than last year when the McLaren driver completed his first London Triathlon.
“I wasn’t feeling very well at the start of the week, which is why I have come in a bit slower than last time round,” Button said.
“I really didn’t want to miss out on the weekend, though, as I had such a fantastic time here last year, so I just decided to battle through it.”
McLaren driver Jenson Button is currently fourth in the Formula 1 championship with 147 points.
