Force India will again trial its exhaust-blown diffuser in Belgium on Friday, with driver Adrian Sutil keen to discover the affects of developments made during the limited time the team factory has been open since Hungary.
With all outfits obliged to close their doors for a fortnight over the summer, due to a gentlemanly agreement amongst the teams, factory work has naturally been restricted although the Silverstone squad still hopes to reap the reward of some modifications.
“We will test our new blown diffuser again on Friday,” Sutil explains.
“It worked well in Hungary and gave an improvement over the normal floor so we'll work through more development in practice and, if it performs as well as we hope, we'll use it in the race.”
Also on Tuesday:
- Di Resta to remain on sidelines at Spa
- Ferrari to trial updated diffuser this weekend
