Vitantonio Liuzzi eventually scored a point in the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday although the Italian is sure that a possible four could have been picked up for eighth place, had he not been involved in a Bus Stop Chicane incident with former Toro Rosso team-mate Sebastian Vettel.
Having finished 11th, the Italian was promoted to tenth following a 20-second time penalty for current Toro Rosso charger Jaime Alguersuari although the Force India man is disappointed to have been involved in the Vettel clash, which was the Red Bull driver's second of the race at the final corner following an earlier collision with Jenson Button.

“We had quite a good fight with the Ferrari (Fernando Alonso) and we looked good but after we got involved in contact with Vettel because he was coming from behind really strongly,” Tonio explained after the race, shortly before his top ten promotion.
“He exaggerated in the last corner, he pushed really hard and he went over my front wing by trying to overtake me.
“So I had to stop again, change another set of tyres and that I think is the moment where we lost the point because within a few laps it had started raining and we were pretty good with the Intermediate tyre conditions; in the rain we showed a really strong performance but we lost more than 30 seconds with the stop due to the front wing change.
“It was a shame because we believed we could have finished in at least position eight, or maybe better, so it was a shame because really good points were waiting ahead of us but it didn’t happen.”
