Senna targets season-best result in Italy
The Senna name will return to Formula 1 racing at Monza this weekend, with Bruno preparing to finish at least fifteenth at the circuit which saw uncle and triple World Champion Ayrton cross the line first for McLaren in 1990 and 1992.
Having made his F1 debut with Hispania at the start of the current campaign, Bruno has achieved his highest-placed finish on two occasions – in the form of 16th positions for consecutive races in Malaysia and China – although the Paulista is confident that that can be bettered this weekend.
“Monza is a very atmospheric circuit with a great racing history, so I always look forward to racing there,” he said, having previously driven alongside the F1 scene in GP2 two years ago.
“Our aim is to achieve the team’s best results of the season and to be competitive against the other new teams on the grid.”
