Red Bull car parts become sculptures

Red Bull Racing is giving fans the unique chance to collect parts of its Formula 1 cars by offering the components in the modified forms of modern art. In conjunction with Racing Gold, the Milton Keynes-made parts are now included in the 'Part of the Team' collection.

Including limited edition lights fashioned from aerodynamic elements and mirrors whose DNA hail from brake discs, the 'Part of the Team' items will come with official certificates of authenticity, details on when the part in question was raced and will also give buyers the chance of a team factory tour.

Red Bull also points out that a percentage of each sale will be donated to charity Wings for Life, which specialises in spinal cord research. Available items will be on display from between Thursday and Sunday in the Red Bull Energy Station at Monza.
