Monza weather update: Weekend showers on cards
It is possible that light rain showers could affect either qualifying or the Italian Grand Prix itself this weekend, with local weather predictions varying but certain amounts of rain being predicted.
The last wet Italian Grand Prix was staged just two years ago, with teams having had to deal with flooding pit garages on Friday before Sebastian Vettel picked up a sensational maiden victory for Toro Rosso in the spray of Sunday.
Following rain at Monza on Wednesday evening, the majority of the Formula 1 circus has been greeted by a damp paddock this morning as daily temperatures fluctuate between the mid-teens and early 20s.
