Sauber to launch C30 on 31 January
3 December 2010 – Sauber is the first of Formula 1’s teams to reveal the date and location of its 2011 car launch, with the C30 set to be unveiled to the media on Monday 31 January at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo circuit.
The Friday morning press release confirms that Sauber will be launching in Valencia once again next year, although unlike in 2010 its driver-line up is already verified.
Japanese Kamui Kobayashi will be joined prior to his second full F1 season by GP2 championship runner-up Sergio Pérez of Mexico, who is backed by telecommunications company (and new team sponsor) Telmex and wealthiest man in the world Carlos Slim.
Also present in Spain will be Team Principal Peter Sauber plus other senior squad members, with a filming session of the car in action planned for the afternoon.
