A possible spanner has been thrown into the works for Sir Richard Branson's AirAsia flight as a stewardess, with the Virgin Group Chairman having been injured in a recent skiing accident.
Following up from a pre-Christmas 2009 bet with Tony Fernandes, Branson is currently set to debut as a stewardess on AsiaAsia X's London to Kuala Lumpur flight on Monday 21 February; however, this may no longer be the case.
'Update on Richard Branson flight,' Fernandes posted on his personal Twitter account on Monday morning. 'May be a delay as Richard injured himself skiing. Will call him today. So that's why no announcement yet.'
