Sauber renews partnership with Mad-Croc

26 January 2011

Switzerland’s Sauber team has renewed its sponsorship contract with Mad-Croc ahead of the 2011 season, with the deal meaning the UK-based producer of energy gum, chews and drinks will see its logos remain on the cars of Kamui Kobayashi and newcomer Sergio Pérez.

The collaboration first began in 2010 although for this year Mad-Croc logos will also be seen on the air deflectors, located on the sides of the monocoque, on the car which will be unveiled to the media at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo circuit next Monday.

“Mad-Croc’s products are a perfect match for Formula 1,” Team Principal Peter Sauber commented of the firm which was founded in 2004 before out-selling the global market leader in Finland by the end of the following year. “We are delighted to be able to renew this partnership.”

Based in Luton, Mad-Croc parent company Energy Brands Ltd is also responsible for the Red Devil Energy Drink and Croc Tail products.
