Leading tequila brand Jose Cuervo has added its name to the sponsors that will be featured on the Sauber C30 this year, following a new partnership deal with the team ahead of the 2011 season. Jose Cuervo is the leading tequila producer in the world, and will see its logo on the sidepod and nose of the squad’s new challenger.
After the Hinwil-based outfit announced Sergio Pérez in October last year, team boss Peter Sauber stated that the Mexican market has been much easier to break into. The new deal with Jose Cuervo highlights the impact his new signing has had on the country, and the positive effect if it having on his team.
"We are very pleased to welcome Jose Cuervo as a new partner," Sauber commented. “To sign Sergio Pérez as the team mate of Kamui Kobayashi has had an impressive and passionate impact on the Mexican market."
