Former Jordan and Midland Formula 1 racer Tiago Monteiro will be providing his voice for this year’s new Cars 2, which will appear in UK cinemas from mid-July. Now driving in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), he will be dubbing for Lewis Hamilton’s character in the Portuguese version of the movie.
Having travelled to France in order to take part in the launch of new Euro Disney attractions, Monteiro was also was involved in SEAT promotional events and took the opportunity to meet up with Pixar Studios’ Diana Pereira.
“It was a very amusing experience, especially because at home we all really love Cars,” he laughed. “I can't wait to see the reaction of our sons, nephews and cousins when they see the film.”
