New York's Interbrand to help Williams restructure
9 May 2011 – Williams F1 has announced that it is linking up with New York-based Interbrand in order to help reshuffle, with the team now promoting a fresh image following the recent statement regarding technical personnel changes. The world’s leading brand consultancy will work with the Grove outfit and assist with its merchandising.
The link-up will also see Interbrand, which was founded in 1974, collaborate with Williams on marketing projects while conducting a research programme for sponsorship and brand value creation.
“As a leading Formula 1 team, we are the custodians of some of the world's leading brands when they entrust us to display their logos on our Formula 1 cars,” says Team Principal Sir Frank Williams.
“It is therefore appropriate that we pay the same care and attention to our own brand. We are delighted to welcome Interbrand to the team and I am certain that they will improve our already high standards of marketing.”
