Vitantonio Liuzzi is engaging in discussions with HRT with a view to re-signing with the newly-owned Spanish outfit. The Italian, who debuted with Red Bull in 2005 and raced with Force India last year, is currently competing his fourth full F1 season.
“For sure there have been a few talks but it is a bit too early to say anything at the moment,” Liuzzi wrote in a column for ESPN.
“People have come to chat with me, but everything is good with HRT and they are happy with me, so at the moment I would say everything is normal.
“There are people who came to talk but at the moment everything is good with HRT; their programme seems really interesting for the future and within the next two or three races we should know something better.”
