Christian Horner insists that Red Bull will not allow room for complacency, despite the team’s huge lead in both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ World Championships. Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix marked the Milton Keynes-based outfit’s second one-two of 2011 after the Turkish Grand Prix of May.
“There are seven races to go and still a lot of points available on the board,” Team Principal Horner told reporters at Spa, with Sebastian Vettel now leading the way by 92 points and Red Bull’s team cushion being 131 back to nearest challengers McLaren.
“This is our seventh win this year and our twelfth pole. We have a 100 percent finishing record, but we’re not underestimating our rivals. There will be no complacency; we're heads down, focused on the next race and not thinking anything is done and dusted at this point in time.”
