Bruno Senna is keen to resolve Renault’s issues with car balance as quickly as possible in Saturday’s final practice session for the Korean Grand Prix. On Friday, the Brazilian and team-mate Vitaly Petrov ended the day in 11th and 15th places.
“There's not much to say about this morning, other than it's frustrating for all drivers when you can't go out to set a lap time,” said Senna, the slower of the Renault pairing today. “This afternoon, it was beneficial to get some track time though we did endure some difficulties with the balance of the car.
“Hopefully we'll be able to rectify that, but we need to look at where we can improve the aerodynamics - otherwise we’ll encounter more difficulties this weekend. Fingers crossed tomorrow that we'll be able to run in the dry, so that we can become accustomed to the conditions we expect to face on Sunday.”
At Yeongam, Paulista Senna is running a special helmet design dedicated to late uncle Ayrton, whose third and final title was won on this weekend 20 years ago.
