Rosberg fined for late arrival at meeting

Mercedes GP driver Nico Rosberg has been fined 10,000 euros (£8,733), of which 5,000 (£4,366) is suspended for a period of 12 months, for arriving late to a meeting with the Korean stewards panel in relation to a disciplinary investigation.

The German was called up following his incident in Friday’s second free practice session with Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari. Rosberg locked up and missed his braking point at Turn 1, with Alguersuari exiting the highly-criticised pit lane exit.
