Sébastien Buemi was left highly dissatisfied after Brazilian Grand Prix qualifying, not just due to his loss of power. The issue followed an earlier hydraulics leak, which had resulted in much lost time during this morning’s final practice session.
“I am not happy with the result, even if I feel I did the best I could this afternoon,” says the Swiss, who debuted in Formula 1 in 2009. “However, we did not have a good preparation for qualifying, as I was unable to run in the morning.
“Added to the fact I did not drive in FP1, because Jean-Éric (Vergne) was in my car on Friday morning, I’ve really had very few laps so far this weekend. We must learn from these mistakes to ensure we don’t make them again.”
Buemi remains under immense pressure this weekend, with Scuderia Toro Rosso yet to confirm its driver line-up for the 2012 season.
