Adrian Sutil has explained that he has ‘more than one option’ to remain in Formula 1 next season, revealing that a decision should be expected within the next fortnight. The current Force India driver enjoyed an impressive second half of the 2011 campaign, including a joint personal best result of sixth place in the Brazil finale.
With Force India reserve driver Nico Hülkenberg tipped to move up alongside Paul di Resta in 2012, Sutil has recently been linked to the vacant seat at Williams.
"To be honest, I delivered great performances at my last 10 races, but obviously the last three are still more current," Sutil told the official Formula 1 website. "For sure, these results make things easier for me and my manager to sort out the future (laughs).
"Right now we do have more than one option and we are trying to put the best package together for next year. Hopefully we will have a decision within the next two weeks."
Sutil finished the 2011 season in ninth place overall, ending up 15 points (the equivalent of a third place finish) ahead of rookie team-mate di Resta.
