Adrian Sutil’s manager, Manfred Zimmermann, has denied rumours that his driver is in the running to join Ferrari in 2013, with current pilot Felipe Massa’s race contract due to run out at the end of next season. The German was recently dropped by Force India in favour of Nico Hülkenberg and has since been looking for a full-time seat.
"We are definitely not in talks with Ferrari," Zimmermann said in response to the recent claims. "They are definitely not an option. Of course, it is the dream of every driver and manager.
"There are still options to stay in Formula 1 and we are negotiating currently. At the moment we can't say anything more."
Williams remains Sutil's most realistic race opportunity for 2012, with the Grove squad still yet to announce who will partner Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado.
