Caterham has announced that newly-recruited reserve driver Giedo van der Garde will be testing the team’s car in Jerez on Thursday. This came with the full confirmation of the team’s Jerez line-up on Monday morning, which also states that Jarno Trulli will only enjoy one full day in the car this week.
Caterham is the final Formula 1 team to confirm its running order for this winter’s opening test session, for now silencing rumours that Jarno Trulli is to be replaced for the 2012 season.
The Jerez line-up for Caterham is as follows:
Tuesday: Heikki Kovalainen
Wednesday: Heikki Kovalainen
Thursday: Giedo van der Garde
Friday: Jarno Trulli
Testing begins at 9am (GMT +1) on Tuesday.
