Paul Di Resta had a small off in the morning session during the final day in Montmeló which cost the team a short amount of time. Di Resta feels they're progressing well and believes the changes the squad are making are having a noticeable effect.
“It was another successful day and a good way to end the week," said the Scotsman. "I had a small trip through the gravel in the morning, but nothing that caused too much of an issue, although we lost half an hour of running."
Di Resta was one of six men to complete over a century of laps which translates to 470 kilometres, winding up in third place just ahead of 2009 World Champion Jenson Button as the day ended.
"The important thing is that we still managed to do our long runs in the afternoon and I could feel the changes we made compared to yesterday. It’s given me a good impression of the car’s balance and consistency, and we’ve seen that our long run pace is improving step by step.”
Force India return on the 1st March along with their rivals, minus Red Bull Racing and Ferrari who commence a day later.
