Red Bull renews deal for nine Renault trucks

10 April 2012

Red Bull has announced its supply vehicle plans for 2012, confirming its means of transportation. It has also said which road cars its drivers will have.

For the World Champion team, equipment – including the RB8 race cars – will be transported in nine Renault Magnum trucks. For personnel, the team will continue to use 30 Nissan vehicles of the NV200, NV400 and Nissan Light models.

In terms of drivers, Sebastian Vettel will retain an Infinity FX 50S, with Mark Webber and reserve driver Sébastien Buemi in the M37S version.

“Within such a highly pressured and challenging environment as Formula 1, we need reliable partners taking care of all our versatile transportation needs all over the world,” Team Principal Christian Horner says in a press release.

“Extensive travel is part and parcel of Formula 1 and our material, staff and guest transportation are an essential part of our successful operations.”
