2012 Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix: Saturday third free practice results

Force India's Nico Hülkenberg has been fined 7,200 euros (£5,800) by the FIA Stewards for speeding in the pit lane during the third free practice session for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.

At 95.5 km/h (60mph), the German was well over the pit lane speed limit of 60km/h (40mph) set for practice sessions at Catalunya.

The FIA Stewards, which this weekend include Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen, found the offence to be a breach of 'Article 30.12 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations'.

Hülkenberg will be hoping for a good result in Spain after failing to score points in the last two races. He current lies 16th in the Drivers' Championship.
