Now 20, Daly was Star Mazda Champion in the United States before switching to GP3 for 2011; following a campaign of mixed results last year, he kicked off his 2012 season in style by winning at the Circuit de Catalunya.

The Force India aero run will take place in England, at Gloucestershire’s Cotswold Airport (formerly known as Kemble Airfield). On Tuesday, Daly visited the Silverstone factory for a seat fitting and to familiarise himself with the steering wheel.

The full scale aero run will allow the team competing with Paul di Resta and Nico Hülkenberg to compare real life results with data obtained in the wind tunnel.
